My Kind of Town
There are a couple members of the Crunch that enjoyed their trip to Chicago this week. Derek MacKenzie had only played professionally for the Wolves before this season. That means that he has plenty of friends in town and was able to grab dinner and a movie Monday night.
Adam Munro was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks and played for them in 17 games. He also has some friends in town. In fact, one of them invited him to the NBA game between the Bulls and Dallas Mavericks. I think he had pretty good seats too.
For me, my highlight was having lunch with Howard Dolgon and Jim Sarosy on Tuesday. I was also happy that there's a Target right next to the hotel since I forgot my belt and gloves on this trip.
Little pre-game fisticuffs before the game tonight. Konopka, Sestito, Mirasty and Szwez exchanging words, shoves and fists with several Wolves. They included Andre Deveaux and Boris Valabik. I hope that makes for an interesting game. I'll follow up later.
