The Summer Street Crunch series will kick off on Saturday, July 11 at 9 a.m. at Alliance Bank Stadium. In addition, the Summer Street Crunch series will continue on July 25 and August 8, and will conclude on August 22.
The 2009 Summer Street Crunch is a series of street hockey games open to all youths between the ages of 5-14. Games are held in which two (2) teams compete against each other in an hour long street hockey game. Helmets, sticks and sneakers (no skates) are required.
The Crunch will again host its annual local celebrity game on August 8 at 10:30 a.m. All dates, times and locations are subject to change.
Registration is only $10 per player. Any individual that registers for all four (4) games by June 15 will receive a special rate of $30. To register, call the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 ext. 33.
Registration includes the following:
*A roster spot for one game.
*An official Street Crunch t-shirt.
*One (1) free youth ticket to the second home game of the Crunch’s upcoming
2009-10 season.
*An invitation to a pre-game pizza party.
*On-ice certificate presentation.
