Columbus Recalls MacKenzie

Syracuse, NY (December 18, 2007) – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that they have recalled center Derek MacKenzie.
 
MacKenzie, 26, has appeared in 30 games with the Crunch this season, tallying 12 goals, 6 assists and 28 penalty minutes. MacKenzie also appeared in one game with Columbus earlier this season. A native of Sudbury, Ontario, MacKenzie was originally drafted by Atlanta in the fifth round, 128th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 11, 2007.
