Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the club's preseason schedule will consist of three games against the St. John's IceCaps, all held in Newfoundland, Canada.
 
The first of the three-game series will be held Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook, NL. The teams will then travel to Stephenville, NL for a Friday, Oct. 5 game at the Bay St. George Kinsmen Club. The Crunch and IceCaps will move to Clarenville, NL for their final preseason contest on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Clarenville Events Centre at 12:30 p.m. EDT (times for the first two contests will be released at a later date).
 
The Crunch will hold their 2012-13 home opener on October 13 at the War Memorial Arena. Tickets for that game can be purchased now as part of a three or six game package. Tickets for the Crunch's 2012-13 campaign are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473- 4444.
