SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled defenseman
Jake Dotchin from the Syracuse Crunch today, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.
Dotchin, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, has played in 33 games with the Crunch this season, recording three goals and 12 points. He leads the team with 77 penalty minutes and paces all Syracuse defensemen with a plus-10 rating. Dotchin has appeared in 155 career AHL games, all with the Crunch, posting 10 goals and 43 points. He has also skated in three Calder Cup Playoff games, all during the 2014-15 season. Dotchin has yet to play a NHL game.
The Cambridge, Ontario native was selected by the Lightning in the sixth round, 161st overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft.
