Syracuse, NY (October 27, 2011) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled left wing J.F. Jacques and the Crunch have released defenseman Brian O'Hanley from his professional tryout contract.
Jacques, 26, has appeared in five games for Syracuse this season, recording four points (2g 2a) and two penalty minutes. He appeared in three preseason contests with Anaheim before originally being assigned to Syracuse on September 29. Selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 68
th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he was acquired by the Ducks as a free agent on July 6, 2011.
O'Hanley made his Crunch debut October 26 in Lake Erie. He played in one game and recorded one assist while with the Crunch.
The Crunch's next game is Friday, Oct. 28 when they host East Division rival the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
