SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Dyllan Gill to the Syracuse Crunch from the Orlando Solar Bears, Crunch General Manager and Head Coach Joel Bouchard announced today. Additionally, the Crunch have recalled defenseman Chris Harpur from the Solar Bears.

Gill, 21, has played in nine games with Orlando this season earning one goal and two assists. He skated in 24 games with the Crunch last season tallying two goals and two assists. He also played in 27 regular season games with the Moncton Wildcats, posting six goals, 18 assists and a plus-29 rating, and 19 playoff games as Moncton claimed the Gilles-Courteau Trophy as the QMJHL Champions. Since 2021, the 6-foot-3, 199-pound blueliner has played in 212 career QMJHL games with the Wildcats and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies earning 113 points (21g, 92a).

Gill was selected by the Lightning in the seventh round, 223rd overall, at the 2022 NHL Draft.

Harpur, 29, has appeared in nine games with the Solar Bears this season tallying three assists. He played in both preseason games with the Crunch recording an assist. Harpur skated in 13 games with the Crunch last season posting three assists. He also appeared in 44 games with Orlando recording two goals, nine assists and a plus-7 rating. Since 2021, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound blueliner has played in 30 career AHL games, all with the Crunch, totaling seven assists and 163 career ECHL games, all with the Solar Bears, earning seven goals and 29 assists.

Prior to his professional career, Harpur played in 161 games with Niagara University from 2017 to 2022 posting 10 goals and 48 assists.
