Season Series:
This is the second of ten meetings between the two rivals. It's the first time Syracuse faces Adirondack on the road this season. The Crunch defeated the Phantoms, 6-2, in Syracuse's home opener on October 15. In the win, Kyle Palmieri scored a hat trick and Nick Bonino collected four assists. Patrick Maroon, Rich Schofield and Sean Zimmerman all have a goal and assist against Adirondack this season. Jeff Deslauriers earned his first win as a member of the Crunch over the Phantoms, allowing two goals and stopping 36 shots. Syracuse chased Jason Bacashihua in the first meeting of the season, allowing four goals in just 24:47 of play. Leighton allowed two goals in relief of Bacashihua.

Syracuse can move above .500 in their all-time series with the Phantoms, who relocated from Philadelphia to Glens Falls in 2009. In 57 regular season meetings, the Crunch are 24-24-9 against the Phantoms.

Crunch At A Glance: Syracuse earned three out of four points in last weekend's home-and-home series with the Rochester Americans, winning at home on Saturday, 5-2, and falling on the road in overtime, 6-5, on Sunday. Despite missing Nick Bonino, Kyle Palmieri and Peter Holland, the Crunch totaled 10 goals, including six on the power play. The team's defensemen contributed to the offensive outburst, scoring four of the ten goals. Defenseman Kyle Cumiskey and Bryan Rodney both recorded their first goals as members of the Crunch. Right wing Dan Sexton, named AHL Player of the Week, recorded nine points (2 goals, 7 assists) and had a hand in nine of the ten goals scored last weekend.
