The Syracuse Crunch and Upstate University Hospital have launched the team's 2025-26 Change for Change campaign benefitting Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital and Upstate Cancer Center.

Change for Change presented by Upstate University Hospital is a fundraising initiative that was created by Crunch players during the 2014-15 season that aims to raise money for pediatric cancer research and help improve the odds for patients with cancer. The campaign was inspired by a boy named Griffin Engle and raised over $6,000 in its inaugural campaign.

Each year in the United States, more than 13,000 children under the age of 19 are diagnosed with cancer. It's the fight of a lifetime, but not one that they'll face on their own.

With the Change for Change campaign, the Crunch and Upstate University Hospital are helping give children the best chance to beat their cancer. It may sound like a big goal, but it all starts with just a little change.
