Season Series: This is the second of six meetings this season between the Syracuse Crunch and the Hershey Bears. Hershey shut out Syracuse, 7-0, on October 23 to take the first game of the season series. Eleven different Bears players recorded a point in the win. Chris Bourque, Justin Brouillette and Jacob Micflikier each recorded one goal and two assists, leading the team with three points. Dany Sabourin stopped 36 shots for the shutout win.
 
Crunch At A Glance: Syracuse dropped its second straight game, losing to the Rochester Americans, 3-2, Wednesday night at the Blue Cross Arena. John Mitchell netted his second goal of the season. Rookie Peter Holland, recently reassigned to Syracuse by the Anaheim Ducks, scored his third goal of the season. Iiro Tarkki finished with a career-high 41 saves. The 44 shots against, were the most allowed by Syracuse this season. Kyle Palmieri leads Syracuse with nine goals in nine games. Dan Sexton is tied for ninth in the league with 11 assists, with eight coming on the power play.

Bears At a Glance: Hershey enters tonight's contest on a two-game losing streak. They've allowed nine goals in that span, dropping both on home ice. The Bridgeport Sound Tigers defeated Hershey, 4-3, Sunday at the Giant Center. Chris Bourque and Jacob Micflikier each scored their seventh goals of the season. Graham Mink collected two assists. Braden Holtby stopped 24 shots for his fourth loss of the season. Bourque and Micflikier lead the team in goals. Keith Aucoin leads all skaters with 19 points. His 15 assists rank him second in the league, one behind the leader, Peoria's T.J. Hensick.
