Season Series: This is the ninth of 10 meetings between the Syracuse Crunch and the Albany Devils this season. The Crunch are 5-3 against the Devils in 2011-12, helped out by their 2-1 shootout win on Friday. Peter Holland scored the Crunch's lone goal in regulation, while Steve Zalewski tied the game in the final minute of the third period. In the shootout, Kyle Palmieri, Holland and J.F. Jacques scored. Iiro Tarkki made 30 saves to earn his third straight victory.
