Season Series: This is the eighth of ten meetings between the Adirondack Phantoms and the Syracuse Crunch this season. Adirondack leads the season series, 4-3-0. The Crunch won the most recent meeting, 2-1, Wednesday in Glens Falls. Down by one goal after two periods, Syracuse scored twice in the third period for the come-from-behind win. Riley Holzapfel and John Mitchell scored the third-period goals for Syracuse. Denis Hamel was the Phantoms' lone goal scorer. Iiro Tarkki stopped 22 of 23 shots for the win.
 
J.F. Jacques and Kyle Palmieri lead the team with eight points (6g, 2a) against the Phantoms this season. They also both hold a share of the team lead in goals. The Crunch defeated the Rochester Americans, 4-3, last night at the War Memorial. The win was the third straight for Syracuse. Brandon McMillan, J.F. Jacques and Peter Holland recorded two points in the win. Mathieu Carle and Nick Schaus also found the back of the net for the Crunch. Iiro Tarkki stopped 23 shots for his 17th win of the season.
 
Patrick Maroon enters tonight's game leading the Crunch with 66 points (28g, 38a). He's fourth in the league in points and leads the team in assists.
