Season Series: This is the second and final meeting between the Syracuse Crunch and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this season. Bridgeport defeated Syracuse, 5-4, in a shootout January 28 at the War Memorial Arena. Casey Cizikis led the Sound Tigers with three points (1g, 2a), and Micheal Haley chipped in two points (1g, 1a) in the win. Peter Holland scored two goals in the loss. Kyle Palmieri and Mathieu Carle finished with two points. Iiro Tarkki stopped 29 shots in regulation, but could only stop two of four shooters in the skills competition. Kevin Poulin stopped 30 shots in regulation, and blanked Syracuse in the shootout.

Crunch At A Glance: Syracuse enters tonight's game seventh in the Eastern Conference, two points ahead of the Manchester Monarchs. They're two points behind the Connecticut Whale for six in the conference. Syracuse defeated the Binghamton Senators, 5-1, Wednesday at the War Memorial Arena. Five different skaters scored for the Crunch, who earned a point in their 11th straight game. J.F. Jacques, Dan Sexton and John Mitchell finished with a goal and assist. Brandon McMillan collected two assists, and Iiro Tarkki stopped 28 shots for the win.

Patrick Maroon leads Syracuse with 72 points (31g, 41a). He's third in the league in points, one behind Norfolk's Cory Conacher. He's also tied for fourth in the league in goals. Kyle Palmieri leads Syracuse with 32 goals, and is third in the league in goals. Jacques has 11 points (4g, 7a) in his last nine games. He's one of four skaters with 20 or more goals this season.

Sound Tigers At A Glance: Bridgeport enters tonight's game third in the Eastern Conference. They trail the second-place St. John's IceCaps by five points. The Sound Tigers defeated the Springfield Falcons, 3-2, Wednesday afternoon to clinch a playoff berth. David Ullstrom scored the game-winning goal, snapping a 2-2 at the 15:15 mark in the third period. Tony Romano led Bridgeport with two points (1g, 1a). Kevin Poulin stopped 33 shots in the win.
