SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned forwards
Cory Conacher,
Yanni Gourde,
Gabriel Dumont and
Adam Erne along with defenseman
Jake Dotchin to the Syracuse Crunch, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced today.
Conacher, 27, skated in 11 games with the Lightning this season, posting a goal and four points to go along with four penalty minutes. He has also skated in 54 games with Syracuse this season, recording 16 goals and 56 points to go along with 109 penalty minutes. The Burlington, Ontario native ranks tied for first on the Crunch for points, second for assists (40) and tied for third for goals.
Gourde, 25, appeared in 20 games with the Lightning this season, registering six goals and eight points to go along with eight penalty minutes. The Saint-Narcisse, Quebec native set career NHL highs for games played, goals, assists and points. He was one of four Bolts this season to record a shorthanded goal. Gourde has also played in 55 games with the Crunch this season, notching 22 goals and 46 points.
Dumont, 26, played in 39 games with the Lightning this season, posting two goals and four points to go along with 29 penalty minutes. The 5'10, 190-pound forward set career NHL highs for games played, goals and points this season. Dumont has also skated in 19 games with Syracuse this season, recording five goals and 10 points to go along with 24 penalty minutes.
Erne, 21, appeared in 26 games with the Bolts this season, notching three goals and 11 penalty minutes. The New Haven, Connecticut native made his NHL debut on January 3 versus the Winnipeg Jets and netted his first NHL goal on March 3 at Pittsburgh. Erne has also played in 39 games with Syracuse this season, posting 12 goals and 26 points to go along with 42 penalty minutes.
Dotchin, 23, skated in 35 games with the Lightning this season, registering 11 assists and 35 penalty minutes. The Cambridge, Ontario native made his NHL debut on January 21 against the Arizona Coyotes and recorded his first career NHL point (assist) four games later versus Boston. Dotchin has also appeared in 33 games with the Crunch this season, posting three goals and 12 points to go along with 77 penalty minutes.
