Connor Ingram named CCM/AHL Player of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The American Hockey League announced today that Syracuse Crunch goaltender Connor Ingram has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 25, 2018.

Ingram won all three of his starts in the Syracuse net last week, allowing a total of four goals on 90 shots (3-0-0, 1.33, .956).

Ingram made 29 saves on Wednesday night as Syracuse earned a 4-1 road win in the front end of a home-and-home set with Binghamton. On Friday, he stopped 30 shots to backstop the Crunch to a 5-3 victory over the Devils. Saturday, Ingram earned his sixth consecutive win and his third shutout of the season with a 27-save effort in Syracuse's 3-0 win at Springfield.

A third-round pick by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2016 NHL Draft, Ingram has a record of 7-3-0 in 10 appearances with the Crunch this season, posting a 2.52 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage while tying for the AHL lead with his three shutouts. The 21-year-old native of Imperial, Sask., was a 20-game winner as a rookie with the Crunch in 2017-18 and has a 2.37 GAA, a .915 save percentage and seven shutouts in 45 career AHL games (27-14-2).

In recognition of being named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week, Ingram will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Crunch home game.
