Syracuse Crunch Partner with Lysander Youth Hockey for NHL, NHLPA AND USA Hockey Expanded Learn To Play Program

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Crunch partnered with Lysander Youth Hockey to launch the NHL, NHLPA and USA Hockey Expanded Learn to Play Program.
 
The NHL Learn to Play program helps aspiring youth hockey players develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice. The program ensures participants receive personal attention, confidence building and having fun while developing both hockey and life skills.
 
Both the fall and winter sessions include 10 weeks of on-ice instruction led by USA Hockey certified coaches.
 
Participants can register for the fall session that has already begun with the tuition only registration option. The registration fee including tuition and equipment package is only available before the start of the winter session.
 
Registration Options:
  • $295 - New Players (Includes Tuition & Equipment Package)
  • $150 - Returning Players (Tuition Only)
 
All participants must be born between 2015 and 2020.
 
Program Details:
  • Location: Three Rivers Athletic Complex, Baldwinsville, NY
  • Start date: Sunday, September 14
  • Sessions: Sundays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
    • Fall/Winter Session: September 14-November 23
    • Winter Session: November 30-February 1
  • Designed for children ages 5-9 who are brand new to hockey

Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are on sale now and can be purchased in person at the Crunch office located inside the Upstate Medical University Arena at Onondaga County War Memorial at 800 S. State St. in Syracuse, by calling the office at 315-473-4444 or online through Ticketmaster.
