SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Drag performer and singer Jan Sport will appear at the Syracuse Crunch for Pride Night on Friday, Feb. 20 when the team plays the Charlotte Checkers at 7 p.m.
 
Prior to her rise to fame on Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race, Jan Sport had appeared on multiple national television shows, including the Season 13 finale of NBC's The Voice as featured talent alongside Jessie J and America's Got Talent with Stephanie's Child. She also headlined a national commercial for LG Mobile, can be seen on Broad City and has appeared in multiple episodes of Watch What Happens Live. In addition to her appearances on television, Jan won Breakthrough Artist and was nominated for Best Vocalist at the 2018 NY Nightlife Awards.
 
Jan was cast on Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2020, a show in which contestants compete in challenges and runway performances to be crowned the champion of their season. An exceptional vocalist and performer, she made it through to the eighth episode of the season. After her success on Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race, Jan was selected to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6. She won the main challenge, Halftime Headliners, on episode four when she performed as Lady Gaga in her 2017 Super Bowl appearance.
 
Jan has released multiple featured singles and creates singing videos for her web series, Jan's Jukebox. Jan's Jukebox has received over five million views across all social platforms. She also broke into the professional theatre landscape, appearing in numerous iterations of the stage show Drag the Musical, including an off-Broadway production. She also starred as the lead role of the West End production of Oscar at the Crown.
 
As part of her appearance at the Crunch, Jan will drop the ceremonial first puck and hold an autograph signing in Memorial Hall during the first intermission. The autograph signing is open to all fans in attendance.

Following the game, The Song & Dance will host the Syracuse Crunch Pride Night After Party with Iconica featuring Jan Sport at their downtown venue located at 115 E Jefferson St. The event is 18+ and doors open at 9 p.m.
