SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Crunch are hosting Syracuse Crunch Day at Tykes Tuesday in the Canyon at Destiny USA on Tuesday, August 18 from 12 to 2 p.m.

Tykes Tuesday at Destiny USA is a free family-friendly program that offers new activities every week throughout the summer. The activities, which are sponsored both by retailers and entertainment venues in Destiny USA, as well as by local organizations, aim to provide educational entertainment for children up to age 12. This summer, Tykes Tuesday partnered with Make-A-Wish Central New York to help raise money to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illness.

During the August 18 Tykes Tuesday, the Crunch will have games, including cornhole, a coloring station, dress-like-the-Crunch relay race, shooting and stickhandling, hula hoops and guess the number of pucks. Along with children's activities, the Crunch will have a table with information on ticket packages and the Crunch Bunch Kid's Club.
 
Kids can pick up a Summer Passport when they attend Tykes Tuesday and receive a stamp for each activity they participate in. Anyone with four or more stamps can spin the prize wheel for the chance to win rally towels, cups, player cards, posters, team photos and more.
 
Jeff the Magic Man will also be in attendance during the August 18 event.

Additionally, retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues at Destiny USA will provide exclusive discounts for families who attend Tykes Tuesday. These exclusive discounts will be circulated at the weekly programs.
