2011-12: Played for JYP Jyväskylä of the SM-liiga in Finland. Helenius and JYP Jyväskylä won the league championship while Helenius claimed the Urpo Ylönen Award, the Finnish equivalent of the Vezina Trophy, for best goaltender. NHL Debut: Jan. 30, 2009 for Tampa Bay at home against the Philadelphia Flyers. Came on in relief of Mike Smith and played the final 6:52 of 3rd period, saving both shots he faced.
