Season Series: This is the second of four meetings between the Syracuse Crunch and the St. John's IceCaps this season. Tonight's contest will be the second game of a back-to-back. St. John's won the first meeting of the season, 4-3, yesterday at the Mile One Centre. Syracuse allowed four goals in the second period, tying a season high.
Kyle Palmieri led all Crunch skaters with two points (1g, 1a).
Nicolas Deschamps and
Brandon McMillan also scored goals in the loss. Four different IceCaps scored in the second period. St. John's goalie David Aebischer stopped 25 shots for his fifth win of the season.
