Ducks Recall Center Mark Bell

Syracuse, NY (January 20, 2012) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today the Anaheim Ducks have recalled center Mark Bell.

Bell, 31, has appeared in 32 games with the Crunch this season recording 13 points (5g, 8a) and 33 penalty minutes. The St. Pauls, Ontario native has played in 445 career NHL games collecting 182 points (87g, 95a) and 597 penalty minutes. Bell was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (eighth overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and signed by the Ducks as a free agent on July 20, 2011.

The Crunch return home after a seven-game road trip to host the Norfolk Admirals on January 20, 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Arena.
