Syracuse, NY (January 25, 2012) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that staff members Maggie Walters, Kimber Doolittle and Amanda Linnertz have been promoted to new roles within the Crunch front office.

Walters, 25, has been named the Director of Communications and Marketing.  Walters is responsible for maintaining the day to day relations between the Crunch players and the media. In addition she is responsible for the Crunch's internal and external communications. Walters will also oversee the creation and execution of the team's marketing and advertising campaigns. Walters joined the Crunch staff in 2009 after graduation from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in public relations.

Doolittle, 23, has been named Sponsorship Services and Ticket Manager. In addition to her previous responsibilities of printing and distributing all single-game tickets and assisting with Box Office operations on game nights, Doolittle will assist in maintaining the relationships between the Crunch and its corporate partners. Doolittle joined the Crunch staff in 2010 after serving as an intern with the team during the 2009-10 season. Doolittle graduated from Ithaca College in May of 2010 with a degree in journalism.

Linnertz, 25, has been named Community Relations and Crunch Foundation Manager. Linnertz is now responsible for overseeing the club's charitable arm, the Crunch Foundation, as well as overseeing the club's involvement in the Syracuse community. She joined the Crunch front office in the fall of 2010 after serving as an intern for the team in 2009-10. Linnertz received a bachelor's degree in communications from Cornell University in 2008 and a master's degree in sport management from Ithaca College in August of 2010.

The Crunch host the Rochester Americans on Friday, Jan. 27 and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the War Memorial Arena.
