Bell and Palmieri Return to Crunch

Syracuse, NY (February 3, 2012) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have returned center Mark Bell and right wing Kyle Palmieri to the Crunch.
 
Bell, 31, has recorded 15 points (6g, 9a) in 34 games with the Crunch this season. Bell has appeared in five games with the Ducks this season, going scoreless with five penalty minutes. The St. Pauls, Ontario native has played in 445 career NHL games collecting 182 points (87g, 95a) and 597 penalty minutes. Bell was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (eighth overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and signed by the Ducks as a free agent on July 20, 2011.
 
Palmieri, coming off of his second consecutive AHL All-Star appearance, has played in 26 games with the Crunch this year, recording 36 points (25g, 11a). Palmieri has also played in 11 games with the Ducks this season totaling two points (1g, 1a). The winger was drafted in the first round, 26th overall, by the Anaheim Ducks during the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
