Jeff Tambellini in 2010-2011 as a member of the Western Conference champion Vancouver Canucks. Glass last played an AHL game on Feb. 2, 2009, as a member of the Rochester Americans. Glass has 25 points (10g, 15a) in 91 career AHL games, all with the Amerks.
Brother BashThe War Memorial Arena is the site of a mini-family reunion tonight. Syracuse center
Jeff Tambellini and Hartford rookie Adam Tambellini face off for the second time in as many games. The brothers, who both wear No. 7, had never shared a competitive ice surface until Sunday in Hartford, as Jeff, 31, is 10 years older than Adam. Age isn't the only thing that separates the two. Adam (6-3) peers over his older sibling Jeff (5-11). Both have three points (2g, 1a) this season. Jeff scored both goals in Syracuse's home win on Saturday, while Adam was the lone brother to record a point in Sunday's meeting. Adam's first pro point was an overtime game-winning goal Oct. 14 vs. Providence.
Scoring FirstThe Crunch have scored the first goal in each of their first three games, one of three AHL clubs to do so (Ontario, 3/3; San Antonio, 3/3). Bridgeport leads the league in first goals with five in six games. Sixteen clubs are perfect when scoring first, including Bridgeport; the league points percentage is .839 for first goals.
Last season the Crunch scored 45 first goals (fifth most in the AHL) and won 29 of those games. Their .700 points percentage when scoring first ranked 24th in the league. On average, AHL teams owned a .744 points percentage when scoring a game's first goal. The top teams were W-B/Scranton (.893) and conference champions Manchester (.863) and Utica (.841).

Hartford is 2-for-18 on the power play through four games (11.1%, 25th in the AHL), and has allowed one shorthanded goal. The Crunch are killing off power plays at 86.7% clip through three games (13-for-15), 11th in the AHL.
