Season Series: This is the third game of a five-game Eastern Conference quarterfinals series between the Syracuse Crunch and the St. John's IceCaps. This is the first of three potential games at the Mile One Centre. The series is tied, 1-1. Syracuse won Game 2, 4-3, at the War Memorial on Saturday night. Brandon McMillan scored the game-winning goal, beating Eddie Pasquale on the power play in the third period. Mark Bell, Mat Clark and John Mitchell also scored for the Crunch. Aaron Gagnon led St. John's with two goals.

Dan Sexton, Mathieu Carle and Bell lead Syracuse with three points in the series. Bell leads all Crunch skaters with two goals. Sexton and Carle hold the team lead with three assists. Iiro Tarkki is 1-1 in the series, entering tonight with a 3.04 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage.
